24 Hour Plays Interest Form

The 24 Hour Plays – Savannah – September 26-27, 2025

Are you interested in taking on one of the most creative, dynamic, and artistic challenges ever?  Then join us to put on the 24-Hour Plays, a marathon session in which a dozen actors, six writers, six directors, a tech team, and a host of volunteer coordinators team up to bring new works to the stage in just 24 hours!

To be considered as an actor you must be available from 8am to roughly 9:30pm on Saturday, September 27, 2025.  There is an optional meet and greet on Friday, September 26 from 8-9:30pm for actors that would be great if you could attend, but not required.

Tech crew from 8am to 9:30pm on Saturday, September 27, 2025.  There is an optional meet and greet on Friday, September 26 from 8-9:30pm.

Volunteers must be available from late afternoon Saturday, September 27, 2025 until 10pm.

SCHEDULE OVERVIEW
September 26th

8:00pm—Writers and Directors arrive; Actors arrive if available
8:30pm—Meet and Greet begins
9:30pm —Meet and Greet ends, Actors dismissed, casting begins

The Writers Overnight
10:00pm—Directors and production staff dismissed while writers write

September 27th

6:00pm—Scripts due
8:00pm—Directors and Actors arrive
8:30am—Cast announcements, rehearsals begin
8:30am- 7:00pm—Rehearsal of 6 different plays with Tech rehearsal included
7:30pm—House Opens
8:00pm—SHOWTIME!!!
