Welcome to HADESTOWN - (teen edition), where a song can change your fate. This acclaimed musical by singer-songwriter Anaïs Mitchell and director Rachel Chavkin is winner of 8 Tony Awards including Best Musical and the Grammy Award® for Best Musical Theater Album. It intertwines two mythic tales — that of young dreamers Orpheus and Eurydice, and that of King Hades and Queen Persephone — as it invites you on an unforgettable journey to the underworld and back.Please note this show is double casted, meaning the cast will alternate nights. “Songbird” cast will be performing on Thursday, April 2nd and Saturday, April 4th (7:00pm). “Rattlesnake” cast will be performing on Friday, April 3rd and Saturday, April 4th (**1:00pm). **The 1:00 show on Saturday is a sensory friendly performance. A sensory friendly performance is a show that welcomes individuals with sensory needs, including people on the autism spectrum, as well as, first-time theatergoers. Some adjustments for this performance include- allowing patron movement during the performance with usher assistance, house lights will be dimmed rather than off, there will be no complete blackouts. Intense lighting and sound effects will be reduced or omitted. Volunteers will be on hand to assist with patron needs. Smartphones and tablets will be allowed as a communication tool for these participants.

And for brave heroes in our audience, there will be a lottery for a chance to perform with us in the second half of the show!
