A Love Letter to our Future Selves

Spectra Choir is excited to invite you to our second concert in the “Love Letter” series, “A Love Letter to Our Future Selves.”

A Love Letter to our Future Selves weaves threads of resilience, wisdom, and unyielding hope, honoring the fervent spirit of the women we have been, and the women we will be.

As we travel this daunting journey of life, we cannot turn back but we can turn inward; finding our strength to persevere, to forgive, to find the joy. For we know in our bones we are all but stardust made of this earth, fleeting yet infinite, boundless in our capacity to grow, to love and to be loved.

Join us for an afternoon concert featuring composers Joan Szymko, Jocelyn Hagen, Ysaye Barnwell, and more! Spectra Choir will also be world premiering a piece composed especially for us by award winning composer, Marybeth Kurnat.

In addition to the beautiful voices of Spectra Choir, come enjoy music from local female musicians Kristen King, Harp, Julia Jacobsen,Violin, Josephine Johnson, Guitar, and our fabulous collaborative pianist, Kelli Horton.

There will be a reception and meet and greet after the concert.
