District Live at Plant Riverside District will host a special live performance by Hammond B3 legend Caesar Frazierwithjazz guitaristJacques Lesure, saxophonist James Mahone and drummer Vince Ector. Frazier served as the principal keyboardist for Marvin Gaye and has collaborated with a wide range of top artists, including Kanye West and Common. Born in New York City and raised in Indianapolis, Ind., this funky soul-jazz organist recorded several albums for the Eastbound/Westbound label in the 1970s and has earned respect for his energizing live performances.
